Revamped roller section before the 70' uphill
tabletop. Now much more aggressive rollers and the launch to the 70'er has also
been revamped to a more agressive approch giving more lift and is a total blast
to toss some whips out on.
|
 |
New Finish line section with a 45' Double as the
finish jump.
|
 |
New step up section!!
There is a new step up section after the down hill section, you now come through
a near 180 deg. turn with a 3 ft bowl turn and turn going back up the hill
through a big cut out and up over a step up. That continues to go through a nice
big right hand turn and through a roller single with an elevation drop that is
the landing after the roller (if your fast enough) This section is a BLAST!!
|
 |
Whole new starting line. Its not yet as wide as
it will be when finished but it's a lot bigger.
|
 |
First turn corner is MASSIVE!! It has got to be
the largest first turn corner I have ever ridden on, it enters the corner about 50ish feet
wide and rounds out the corner tapering down to about 30 feet as it comes out
then tapers down to 20 feet wide as you hit the first jump. That's wide enough
for 4 quads to hit the jump side by side and still not touch!!
|
 |
The first jump coming out of the first turn
has been totally remade. It is now 8 feet longer (60' total) with a super smooth
and easy launch with a HUGH landing!! I have even cut down into the ground on
the landing to make it around 10 foot long of a landing... VERY forgiving and
very smooth.
|
 |
The next right hand sweeper after the first jump
is now about 20 feet wide with a new berm.
|
 |
Here is where the changes really begin!!
There is a whole new section made where the 180 deg. left to 90 deg right turn
was (corners 3 and 4). There is now a much larger left turn, roughly 120 deg with a BIG berm,
leading into a small table top, only there to change the attitude of the bike,
very fun to scrub and accelerate hard to the next corner or just launch and
almost land at the next corner... its all good.
|
 |
The high speed sweeper on the south end of the
track heading east will be Removed to make way for a new MASSIVE 2 tabletop
section, First will be about 30' the second 60-65'. This is not finalized but
something we got room for and are considering it. |
 |
New 85' back jump with a 5 foot high launch, 40' gap and
45' tabletop that puts you up about 20' feet up in the air! |
 |
New crossings will be made for the new entrance
and exit locations of the track. The entrance will be the staging area and the
exit will be after the corner after the finish jump. |
 |
The pee wee track is in the process of a TOTAL
overhaul!!, it is going to be made into the new pit bike race track, it will
have a sweep off section for the beginner kids but the rest will be 1/4 mile
long, some nice sections that will be very fun for more advanced pee-wee
riders and VERY fun for all us Adults with the pit bikes!! |
 |
On the far NE section of the track, from the
down hill section ALL the way to the new finish line will be remade (1/3 the
track) New corners, new jumps and a whole lot of fun!! |
 |
We have on hand TONS of banners and bail covers
that will be placed for before future race events to make for the more PRO
looking track around. |
 |
A new hay bail sound barrier will be made on
the north west sweeper to block some of the exit corner sound from the
neighbors to our north west of the track. |
 |
On the other side of the bail barrier we plan
on making a water station for the water truck we plan on buying real soon (if
we get help with funds... hint: the more people come and ride the faster stuff
happens! |
 |
ALL the current jumps will have a makeover on
the launch and landings... Making the launch a little taller and longer for a
less steep face and the landings are going to be cut longer for a more
forgiving landing if you don't time it just right. |
